An old drovers hut stands quietly beneath a vast Australian sky, surrounded by the red earth and grasses of the outback. The weathered fence post and trailing barbed wire speak of a working landscape slowly returning to the bush.
In The Drovers Hut, I wanted to capture the warmth and drama of fading light, while reflecting on the history held within these old places. The hut may be abandoned, but its presence tells a story of those who once travelled, worked and lived across this country.
