Growing in my garden and flourishing across Australia's Channel Country, the Sturt Desert Pea never fails to stop me in my tracks. Its vivid red flowers seem to glow against the landscape, bringing colour, resilience and beauty to some of the harshest environments.
This painting is my celebration of that remarkable contrast—strength and delicacy, drought and abundance, wilderness and home.
