Inspired by a photograph I took at Soldiers Point, this painting captures the fiery beauty of the sun setting over the water. Intense oranges and purples fill the sky, reflecting across the bay as the distant hills and a lone yacht settle into silhouette.
For me, the Australian landscape is a constant source of inspiration, with its ever-changing light and colour. A Quiet Horizon captures that fleeting moment when the sky blazes with colour, yet the world seems to pause in stillness—a reminder of the beauty found in simply stopping to take it all in.
